A typical day at The Shtieble begins  with two chaburahs and two Shacharis minyanim and continues day and night with Limud Torah in the Kollel and Yeshiva. There is a daily Daf Yomi program led by R'Ahron Finkelstein, special weekly shiurim led by the Rov and Rosh Kolllel, and variousl learning projects including Kollel Night Seder and Avos U'Banim where the joyous sounds of Torah and Tefila fill our building day and night. Our newest program is a Sunday morning breakfast, chaburah and 30 minute shiur with the Rov following the 9:00 am minyan.

 

Although the shul nusach is Nusach Ashkenaz, the Kehilla is extremely diverse. We have Ashkenazim, Sefardim and Chassidim blending together in a warm and homogonous environment that is a combination of old-world heimishe, American traditional, and YU and Young Israel style modern orthodox all at the same time. Baruch Hashem, we have dozens of boys and girls from toddler to high school who are engaged in our Shabbos groups and in our Avos U'Banim, sports, music and youth kiruv programs. 

 

We also have a  growing contingent of religious Russian-American families who are active in our outreach efforts to Russian youths and their families in the largest Russian-American Jewish community in the United Stats; and we are proud of our partnership working with the leadership from RAJE - Russian American Jewish Experience a local kiruv organization here in Brighton Beach Brooklyn, New York.
